Fear of public speaking, dreaded diseases, wars and car crashes – fears of these is fear of life I think, more than it is of death. Fear of growing, of stretching – numbing for many. Fear is something which strikes everyone at from time to time – albeit in different ways, peculiar ways and most of all, unpredicted ways …
I can’t swear to being unconcerned about them, but day-to-day, who has the time?
Understand many of fear’s forms, I’ve confronted many in my experience and I’ve observed others confronting theirs.
Every time I think I’ve seen all possible fear manifestations some new one shows up, as it did yesterday – someone frightened of something minor/marginal, occluded from seeing a bigger, and I submit, bigger picture.
Oh yes, pompous – seeing something only my own way.
What other way could I?
