CROSSCUT
Wednesday May 13, 2015
Perspective impacts what we see. How we feel. It does.
Distorts and not.
We look at a thing, see the thing. Walking around, witnessing every angle, features, design – reactions.
Still, it’s that same thing.
Nothing changed. Everything changed. Each view, better informed. Lamppost, table, crosscut saw, toothpick or stop sign.
Are we living, thinking and feeling on purpose?
Or on accident?
Perspective, how we believe we see things. As they appear to be. Not reality, not fully. From just one vantage point.
Close your eyes.
What is your perspective now?
Does perspective apply to people, circumstances – ideas, dreams, feelings – or just things?
Seeing with our mind.
Hold it …
If that thing is an idea?
Or worst fear?
Perspective isn’t changing.
Perspective IS change.
See things when you can’t see things.
See non-things.
Eyes open?
Mind?

morning walk: 0C/32F, grey/pink/magenta/blue clear sky, like drapes about to part – revealing a whole new day, birds chirping, dog walking, owner limping (maybe 18 holes yesterday was pushing it!) …
