Everything ever started by anyone had its first day. We all get one of those every morning. Not a fresh start or re-start – but a fresh day. You can start anything.

morning walk: 2C/36F, chilly damp breeze – dry now between drizzles, Gusta happy to finally get out (I’m moving slow, and late) as day 1 of 3 begins – the perfect long weekend for staying inside, cooking (brewing pasta sauce today), reading, writing, working (squeezing 5 days of work into 3 … but with the phone not ringing, that’s possible) and a nap or two
