ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Saturday May 28, 2016
Do they ever show up on schedule, or leave when planned?
Busy rushing, inspiration shows up everywhere, anywhere, walking in morning sun. Or dimly lit late of night, home or away …
Focus and expansion of ideas seems to be balloons we inflate, inflate, and inflate some more without risk of rupture. Someone may have a pin to burst it, but imagination balloons, re-inflates and takes flight again at warp-speed. Without scheduled arrival or departure. Like our time her, no present like this moment, no moment like this present.
Inspiration overcomes – arriving blood flood, adrenalin surges through my body …
Inspiration, or wasted synapse? Quick, before I forget, stop, make a note, send text to self …
Like hummingbird or pollinating insect – flitting around, then disappearing, catching the next breeze headed out of town …
What makes one thought stay with me, what makes another one disappear moments later – completely forgotten or overtaken by the next brainwave or microwave, leaving me aching to have written it down?
Magical thought escapes like wisp of morning haze over water. Gone, elusive, improbable to recapture.
No worries. Another morning, another walk, another balloon inflating – close eyes, imagine flying in that beautiful balloon …
Up up and away!

morning walk: 3C/38F, clear and ‘fresh’, wet grass = wet shoes/soggy socks and belly-drenched Gusta, but I feel invigorated and we both seem hungry for breakfast … or ideas, inspiration …
