Seems as if I’m whittling thoughts down, from tree trunks to toothpicks – compressed digestible bites.
Who has time to absorb a big idea if it can’t be described succinctly?
At best, elevator presentation – make your case before car reaches ground, but does that fully describe anything?
Our ‘marketing class’ culture, tweets and swipes and clicks, leaves little time or space to grab anyone’s attention. Not every idea is for everyone. My inner-writer voice says, “sure, what I have to say is important, hungered for by my audience …”
In reality, audience equals ~ loyal tribe of followers, but mostly occasional glance folks; some days they have time, or appetite. Some days, both. Some daysnot so much.
Keep digging, keep reading, keep writing.
