STRONGER SOFTER WEAR
Thursday May 7, 2015
We all look similar – average even – on our outside.
We are all strong. Not just physical. More than emotion. Focused, determined – obsessed even, advancing ideas, supporting people we care about. Never easy. Doesn’t come naturally. We struggle continuously. We modify, revamp and enhance internal programming, optimized in our actions, in our thoughts. Time to re-install. Time for some upgrading.
We are all giants until or unless, we makes ourselves small.
Strength is not physical. Far less emotional than many believe. Strength is managed confidence, knowing strengths – not that bravado kind, but softer solid quiet kind. We can be weak, old or ill and physically withering and still be stronger than ever if our conviction remains unshaken, if our confidence isn’t second-guessed, isn’t frittered away.
How massively large we become when we allow ourselves endless capacity …

morning walk: -2C/29F, partly cloudy and calm; very fresh and damp. Today’s walk was a little longer, a little steadier – Gusta still frustrated by my tiny-gait but she doesn’t understand that ‘feeling better today’ does not translate to ‘lets go for a romp’ … not just yet anyway.
