SOMETIMES TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Thursday Nov. 23, 2017
How long is too long?
How much it too much?
In everything we do, or hesitate over, these elements govern – should we act now, or wait, and if we wait how long should we wait?
When we act (or speak, or write) will it be too soon, or too late? Whatever effort or hours or cash we invest, what is enough, what is not enough – and what is way too much?
These calculations are elements of second guessing our own judgment.
And these layers of fretting do no good.
It’s like writing a great manuscript and putting it in the drawer. Or putting a great idea aside and never revisiting it.
All calculations will unfold in the fullness of time, but nothing needs to be calculated if we just sit there doing nothing.
Action?
Take some.
