THINGS ARE GOING SOUTH …
Tuesday Nov. 1, 2016
Hallowe’en is over – so back to the clown show called U.S. presidential politics, election weirdness nobody could predict or rig.
Like a bell they’ve rung, can’t be unrung – my fellow Americans …
Day by day, play-by-play, for what?
Another two years of political gridlock, then another ‘two years of media-frenzied running’, it must be so bizarre to know what is happening, hate what is happening and be sucked in by it anyway.
Our Canadian backwater, so calm and uneventful.
Well, actually it isn’t – but compared to our southern neighbours, we must appear simple amateurs.
News seems more like TV fiction drama – switching room to room, scene to scene, misadventure to misadventure – you can’t make this stuff up.
Watching conspiracies and conspiracy theories play out, watching names large and small have their 15 minutes of fame, shame or infamy. Just when you thought some ‘gone-character’ from last season was gone forever, they resurface as catalyst/antagonist in this week’s drama.
Tune in next week, you’ve not seen the last of this scary show.

REARRANGING TIME
I love your words 'infused with leaves'. It sounds like the walk gave Gusta a colorful, brewing blend of nature to bring home and enjoy once ready. Thanks for including your dog walk notes - I'm loving them! And I'm missing my own 2 mutts who are at home waiting for my return, JT, Calgary, AB
