NEW APPROACHES

Someone asked whether I was taking a new approach?
I hope so.
Taking habituated approaches to anything, equivalent to riding on merry-go-rounds of sameness, might be pleasant, but how can we grow that way?
Before people who know me well pounce on that comment – reminding me how rooted I am in routines, habits, and daily must do’s – I’ll clarify.
I don’t want my approach to be the tried-and-true or the tried-and-might-not-fail-this-time approach because I want to remind myself that taking new approaches to everything every time makes such good sense.
If it worked before, maybe it could work better. If it didn’t work before, changing approaches seems essential. I don’t think there is much variation between these two forks in every road – do the same thing the same old way, or do it differently this time.
And, to Alberta residents only: THIRD ACTion Film Festival is doing a 50/50 raffle again – buy a ticket, be a winner + make the pot richer, for a great cause – draw date is Dec. 22nd.
