If you don’t like it, take another selfie – take them over and over until you have the image you see, or photo-shop until you’ve fixed whatever you want changed …
Everybody wants to be happy. It could be argued that everyone knows how – so why aren’t we all happy all the time?
Questions lie this one always half-amuse, half-perplex me?
Question ‘for self’, for everyone.
We can’t tell anyone else how to be happy, or even make suggestions, without seeming pompous fools – so avoid that.
So, what makes me happy?
Play, work, people, ideas, thinking, quiet time – and all in harmony. Helping others, helping myself, doing good, doing profitable, doing wise – in harmony. Giving, giving things away, giving gifts, giving until it hurts (let’s face it – most of us never give that much or hurt that much), and giving that most important gift we can give anyone – listening. All these make me happy. Few days could contain all of them, but nearly every day contains some of them. When I think about his, I realize I don’t need to travel anywhere, walk any tropical beach of fly over magnificent landscapes to be happy – I just need to think about those for a minute. My kids, my grandchildren, my friends, my memories – not to relive events or dream things that weren’t true, but simply appreciating them for who they are, for what they are to me – happy feelings. Happiness is no destination – it’s a place in your mind, your heart, your toe-tips – where we keep our most sensitive feelings.
