I wrote recently about ‘Blue Zones’. Then there was a fresh news item about another earthquake in Italy – then something clicked in my brain. I looked at the map again – found things I like: northern hemisphere, moderate climate, no snow. And something I started wondering about …
I searched a map of earth plates and fault lines. Guess what? Those five ‘Blue Zone’ places where people live longest are on or near fault lines and intersection of fault lines.I thought, somebody must have done some research on this subject to determine if there is a connection … but I found none.
So I’m wondering, if I plan some travel to those five places – will I find some magical reason people who live there live so much longer, or that ‘fear of earthquakes’ is the trick?
