Does that change as we age, as we get older, as we move through phases of life?
Physical strength comes and goes, suffers injury – and recovers. Emotional strength is less likely to atrophy, but suffers injury too. It takes some hits – body-blow kind, the thousand-little-cuts kind, the hurts deep without leaving a bruise.
