PACK AGE ING
Thursday Oct. 9, 2014
Are we packed, or unpacked?
Wrapped, or unwrapped?
We pack things into our day, pack for our trip, pack on our back on a hike or pack-age things for shipment.
We unpack our feelings, our bags and …
No, not yet (five weeks till I’ll be Maui bound ..) too soon to pack, but daily thoughts of sandy beaches and warm waves are starting to filter into each day. I picked up my new passport yesterday, picked up the travel paperwork …
Long weekend ahead – some projects planned, trying to get as many things off my plate as possible before vacation.
Time management, or rather task management seems to take up too much time …
Thought getting it more right, more systemized seems to free up time, generate energy and provide time and opportunity for more time and opportunity. Saved steps, saved movement – that should all be good, right?
Too often I think, we rush around being more effective to free up time for more work getting done rather than to free up time for more life. Efficiency in what we do – to maximize results from efforts, minimize wasted time and energy – seems so useless if we aren’t using that time to think about what we do, why and how our lives can get better.

morning walk: 2C/36F, clear and calm, full moon still hanging around at sunrise … and awesome sight. Gusta seems to love the sniff-ability of things at dawn more than any other time of day which makes directing her virtually impossible.
