NEED AN APP FOR THIS

Saturday Oct. 1, 2016

Tasks, meetings, family, friends, working, resting, workout, shopping, sleeping, eating, showering (who has time to bathe?), washing the car, thinking, reading, commuting, packing, unpacking, flying, driving, conference calls  – doing so much, we scarcely have time to keep track of our wishes, our obligations, let alone fulfill them – ahead of some illusory curve, often so far behind we think we are ahead?

I don’t need an APP, I need a NAP!

Taking breaks – clearing head, not vacations or weekends away – not ‘five minute think-bytes in middle of busy days’, but disconnected lazy drives down empty roads, by car, on foot or virtual trip. Part mental discipline, part ‘playing hooky’.

Yes, you’re right, you get out some measure of what you put in.

Ask, who else is thinking about or cares about your life the way you do?
