Place making – sense of place. Lovely words. Architects, building kind – landscapers too, use it. I smile each time I read that symbolization of their creative intention. Not of ‘this was an important place’ but rather ‘this will be an important place – because I create it to be’.
This thinking has crept inside me and taken up residence – sense of place in process; projects I’m working on, clients I’m working with or ‘page I am writing’. This place in time, piece of me will be left or place in some spot in this continuum. What happens here. Or over there. This NOW of things. Feels important now. Realizing I need to stay locked up with this a while longer – I’m not complete, but I know this understanding is important to feeling completed.
