It was a perfect autumn Sunday morning.

It’s time …

Time to stop thinking summer, time to start thinking fall. Time to put the golf clubs away for another winter’s rest.

We went golfing yesterday; I’d booked our time based on ‘afternoon high’ temperatures lately – and didn’t adjust my thinking for a Tee Time of – 9:42.  The Sunday morning ‘yikes, it’s only 3C’ at 7 AM morphed into 6 holes (3 under construction), we got underway by 9:50 after a short frost-delay.

What followed was a great autumn morning of enjoying the landscape of a mature course while ball-hunting with an abundant supply of autumn leaves – or did the squirrels steal that ball?

Autumn leaves, lost white-dimpled balls, good company – we played 6 holes of pleasant time, good company with our playing partners.

It’s time …
