THRIVE
Monday Sept. 28, 2015
Get what we get. Give what we give. These are not connected, correlated.
Isn’t good luck or bad luck – simply being alive.
Every day, better. Or worse.
Media, selfie-think – boosting/boasting/trumping/politicizing reality. Polling data, economic models. Is dumping tried, true, traditional – generational, technological, inevitable? Individual reality still IS. Some, ill. Others experience superb health. Some people win races. Some fall off mountains or life runs them off the road …
Collective better or worse feeling matters. More than ever. FIFA, VW … list goes on, self-interest defrauds public interest, greed/power eclipses sanity. Consumers and citizens, simple dupes who become just as much a part of it because we flex individuality muscles (all the while software tracks keystrokes, preferences, personality) only, statistically, we’re like all those other ants on this hill.
Thrive, or not.
That’s a choice too.

morning walk: 2C/36F, clear, frosted windshields, stiffening grass – Gusta sluggish, then got her wind and wanted to romp like a frisky kid (or is she mirroring me?), traffic humming and week begins …
