Empty?
Full?
When you consider – empty, or full – where do your thoughts go?
Did you think about your gas tank first?
Or did you think of your belly or refrigerator? Or someone else’s?
Or your bank account?
I like that function on my dash board – DTE.
‘Distance to empty’.
When my gas tank is low it flashes my ‘kilometres to go’ number. I don’t get that low very often, but when I do, sometimes I don’t notice, if it gets low enough it doesn’t flash a number – I don’t know how far I have to go, don’t know how much gas is left. Strange feeling, not scary, but ‘attention getting’.
Like life – each day, having no idea how far we can go, how much reserve is in our tank.
Good to think about. Focuses attention …

morning walk with Gusta: 14C/57F, clear and calm – both my head, and the weather; a wonderful golf-outing yesterday (thank again KK), a ‘feels more like work’ day ahead. Gusta was happy – she got her usual time/’distance today …

TRANSCENDENCE
"Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one" Einstein; "Sometimes God throws the dice where we cannot see them." Stephen Hawking; David Bohm describes the universe as flowing, with eddies, ripples and vortices that form and dissipate ; Everything from the beginning to now has contributed to you arriving at this transitory point in your experience. There are many parallels between laws of physics and our experience. eg: it is possible to measure the location of a particle at a given moment or its energy but not both, BT, Calgary, AB
