FEELING RELIEF
Tuesday Sept. 20, 2016
When a blank page greets a writer – ensuing mind-numbing staring match fosters this debate:
Is there, or is there not, such a thing as a limit on original ideas?
Writer goes first:
“There is an endless supply of people, brain cells, experiences and ideas – so there is NO end to the supply” … shouted to an excited and cheering appreciative audience
Blank page rebuttal:
“I am empty. I rest my case.”, and blank page sat down
Filling blank pages that never gets published?
Easy.
Filling one shown to many?
Well, that’s another matter. Because writers reveal more than subject matter and discussion du jour, they reveal expose what is hidden under and beneath, as stone carvers reveal statues from blocks of rock.
Momentum – is not a place to start, it is a way to start …
