TIME FOR THINKING
Sunday, September 20, 2020
There is rarely enough quiet downtime, spare time, for reflection – so now that time is more readily available, it would be a shame to miss our chance to try more of it.
I’m not only meaning meditation, solitude, or disconnecting from a clock or schedule, but rather ‘all of those.’
Not just for me, but for everyone.
Events have our attention, but who or what holds our intention?
We can try to be better friends or family members, but expectations of reciprocal actions leave us disappointed more often than not. We can try to be creative, re-work who we are, self-improve, or DIY … about anything, but there is still magic missing.
Some will praise, some will critique, some will sit on the sidelines – ignore them all. One person’s choice is all that matters because it is only that one person you control. You.
Do what you want – or at least ask the mirror, “What do you want?”
