Yesterday democracy got some exercise.
My country hasn’t moved. Our political needle moved, but not much.
An election that will leave some tactics wizards jumping for joy while leaving others scratching their heads, leaving far too many Canadians wondering why the election was called and why everyone dislikes the result.
And, today is the last day of summer, with autumn arriving tomorrow.
But, it’s Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, another 21st of the month arrives with border travel restriction in place between Canada and the United States, closed since March 2020.
Every day brings us 24 hours of experience and drags us into tomorrow, every day for 4.5 billion years. For moments in time, groups of elected people preside over small patches of earth.
