BASED ON A TRUE STORY …

Every day we live two lives – one of truth, one of fiction.
One we live, one we wish we were living.
One we lived, and a different one we wish we could remember.
So many paths to walk, forks to take, cliffs to leap from – each is a mountain for scaling or failing to scale.
The truth, both the truths we tell others and the truths we tell ourselves – from fiction to fairy tale, to reality in our mirror, this life, so I’m told, is the only one we get.
Like a name, we can’t regret because we’ll never have another – and who would want another?
Every day we tell two sets of stories – the ones we tell rational selves, the ones we tell our rich imagination to nourish our spirit or salve our old wounds.
