GIVE GIVING A CHANCE
Thursday Apr. 16, 2015
Something has to give.
And we have to give.
Giving when someone asks.
And more importantly, giving when they don’t ask.
If we want mastery over our lives, to have harmony, and enjoy that flowing energy along our path, to get us to where we think we are headed, something/someone has to give.
Can we give?
Should we give?
Are we giving with one hand while holding out the other to catch something in return?
Giving is not a zero-sum game. Giving is giving.
Doing is doing.
Joy is something we give away – and in the giving we may find joy but it is unlikely we’ll get joy in return just because we did something kind or generous or thoughtful.
Every cliché our mothers taught us fit.
Cliché?
Yes.
Who cares why this works?
It does.

morning walk: 5C/40F, mostly clear, Gusta found a wing – not a whole bird, just a wing – that she didn’t want to let go of. It must have smelled appetizing! And she’s bringing home so much lawn debris (twigs, burrs, leaves and dirt) clinging to her coat … .Two very warm days ahead – time to un-store my bike and get my clubs out of their travel case – and get out swinging them.
