Another shot at life? Sure, everyone does.
Standing on shoulders (or in muck) of everything we’ve ever done to anyone, everything new. Mistakes are past, we know/knew.
Speaking or writing or reacting – do I think independently, or are our actions products of being taught by a lifetime of conformist forces? Sorting through any problem requires all we have – our collective experience guides us to make, remake and unmake our mistakes, but do we?
We are who we are, not who we wish we are.
We always were.
Best accomplishments, old past-tense stories, assorted vantage point perspectives – through lens of age or spin. Rear view mirror gazing is easy – easier by far than looking in our bathroom mirror under bright light. So, see ourselves as who we are, right now, wrinkles, skin-tags, nose hairs and bumps …
