MY TUNA WON’T MELT
Saturday, Apr. 4, 2020
I’ve loved tuna-salad sandwiches all my life.
Grilled-cheese sandwiches too.
But I’ve never built the combo before.
I’ve eaten poorly made ones in restaurants, but in my more than 60 years toying in the kitchen, it was my turn at last …
Noshing away over my delicious creation the other day, I realized the absurdity of this term ‘tuna melt.’
Cheese melts.
So does ice.
Does tuna?
Never.
I’m feeling it is time for more variety; I can handle bad news every day, I just can’t see disseminating it every day.
Some days should be good news days.
Some should just be silly.

I enjoyed your description of your friendship with Barry and found that much of your description would describe more than one of my friends. I am blessed. You, too, have been blessed, DW, Oyen, AB
