JUST IN CASE
Monday Aug. 17, 2015
We ARE all going to live.
But how long?
To avoid earth’s difficult future: die, stay in the past, leave
For that getaway, 100 are heading to Mars. No weekend moon excursions yet, but expect it. Many thousands who signed up, paid up, will soon try nearly-space flight – aboard still dodgy technology. Out of this world, indeed.
For most, it’s back to work Monday …
Most people want to change THIS earth, to be better. Caring people, sharing people, hug-planet people, hug-each-other people, help-each-other people. (not everyone is consumed with Mr. Harper dodging questions or Mr. Trump trumpeting scarily - silly-season engulfing us, swamping all forms of intelligent life – U.S. media playing their role numbing citizen minds with near-factoid sound-bites, weekend media talking heads. Morning papers bereft of much NEW in our NEWS).
New week commences.
Love that word!
Not, graduation.
Commencement.
Nothing ending.
Everything beginning.
Invent YOUR great week.
Work some, sure …
Play some, laugh some, cry some – let this week contain everything of life. Not just parts that make you happy, but all those parts that make you whole.
More playing, just in case. More loving, just in case. More laughing, just in case. What a shame to miss all that fun because we were waiting for some later, further away, future time to do it. The world will not end.
Our life will not end, because of what we do or don’t do this week.
Don’t leave earth behind, but leave last week behind – ALL the action is ahead of you. We ARE going to live – but none of us know how long.
Be enthusiastic.
Just in case.

morning walk: 8C/46F (brrr!), sunny day shaping up. Gusta was oblivious to much around her, as perhaps I was, just going through our routing motions, no commotions, just a walk on quiet streets without interruption from a city waking up and stumbling groggily into this week ahead …

It was a great idea 5 years ago and now... like yeasted bread, the yeast is proofed and it's rising, LG, Calgary, AB
NO CURE
I read it yesterday … it was great and oh so true … if we are fortunate enough to have it in our lives even for a time we are very lucky indeed – real and true love, SC, Fredericton, NB
