FINISHING TOUCHES
Tuesday Dec. 12, 2017
Each time I ‘finish’ something, especially when it was nowhere near my daily agenda – I get a lift, a little boost emotionally that my whole-load just got a tiny bit lighter, some long delayed thing got a decision, got an action, got out of that pile – got done, got trashed or got re-purposed.
I have lots on my plate today. Not substantively different than most days – but I think I’m going to finish a few more things today.
I start lots of things, but many never reach their finish line – occupation hazard in any real estate business and an epidemic among writers – those are easy excuses, put together with procrastination they let the ‘pile of not done things’ fester like a wormy compost pile. I’ve been trying to clean up that pile.
Do you finish things?

ANY GIVEN DAY
Wise words! We’ve been given two ears and one mouth for a reason. We all better learn to pay attention. The alternative is too high a price to pay. Thanks, Mark, PW, Calgary, AB
