If I’d known then, way back in the day – what I know now, I think I’d have found a very different path – but we all know there is only one path. Our path. It is what we make it every day. If we don’t like it, we could choose another, but then we’d be choosing to be someone else living someone else’s life.
Is this life just an endless On The Road novel, or are we a straight line of predictability on the path to an objective?
Is it all stream of consciousness ~ or intermittent consciousness, typed on an endless roll of paper …
If Monday to Friday is rote, predictable, is there joy in there somewhere?
I think it isn’t so much what’s going on around us or happening to us, as much as it is what’s happening inside of us that determines if we are happy or not, successful or not, moving things forward or not.
