Are you driven by something or simply along for the ride? Every day something new shows up. Not just for you, but for all of us. I question whether we fully explore these when they show up with consideration deserving of the magnitude of the opportunity, ever, because these gems resemble lumps of coal – dirty and obscuring any special-ness potential. Great value in things not done yet, not created yet, not explored. I cannot imagine where some little idea will lead, what some experimental project will develop into .... I wrote those words eight years ago.
Today my sentiment is much the same, but my perspective has changed – not from the passage of eight years, but from some new learning about what makes me tick. The trigger of new ideas, diversions each time the proverbial next ‘squirrel’ moment arrives, only I’m not going as far or as fast, nor am I as easily distracted.
