CALL WAITING
Sunday Mar. 24, 2019
Do you have those days, when you can’t wait?
Can’t wait to get home, can’t wait to meet someone for lunch, can’t wait to meet a flight or make the call – or can’t wait for that much anticipated one?
We all do.
Many experience high-anxiety over the dreaded call – diagnosis, test results, collection calls from creditors, customers cancelling their order, that call telling some big deal is dead, or that someone is.
We all do.
Too much joy or sorrow is hard to handle. Long quiet periods ‘in the dark’ ain’t much fun either. We get better – more understanding of horror’s depths and become more empathetic toward others. These peaks and valleys don’t just stress our heart – they stretch us, make us better, kinder and more generous when we experience those highs, or those lows …

Thanks Mark. Such great insight. Collectively I think we have all thought or said these words, but reading them in a different context gives new meaning, MJ, Calgary, AB
