SLEEP YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS

Friday, May 29, 2021

Work, rest, recovery.

Repeat.

Work, rest, recovery.

Pushing big rocks up rain-drenched steep hills, punishing muscles to exhaustion at the gym, not pardoning ourselves all week – we know how it’s done – when to go hard, when to rest, when to pull back, when to push on.

We can’t succeed by pushing our hardest all the time any more than we can accomplish much by resting all day. Recovery occurs when we give our body time to rest, recover, and recharge.

Our mind works the same way, but with this twist: our non-conscious mind, our CPU/data processor works 24/7; it knows when we are sleeping, or resting, and keeps working without sleep.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for body, brain, projects, and for others – is to sleep on it.

Sleep well, let body rest, re-energize.
