Energy in about demonstrating a science formula in a laboratory – easy to understand science, right?

We all understand – light energy. Light a match, harness a waterfall – we all know about energy in so many forms.

But what about that energy in our own body?

Not the kind that moves muscles – that’s easy, it’s called food. The other energy, the kind that moves attitudes, propels feelings, drives ambition. What fuels that? Is it celery, a magic pill or something external we see, hear or touch that connects to the brain parts that spark action, spark imagination, spark animation?

When that happens – is it energy?

Is it something we manufacture, or harvest?

Something we ride, or something we chase?

Reader feedback:

SELF DIAGNOSED

Or how about Saturn return? Or a message from your spirit animal? I offer that only barely in jest - the map of our worlds can be charted in so many ways, and what we choose to look at for markers does inform how/what we see - which seems to be your point. So flip side - if we change the map we look at, we might brighten the outlook. It hit me yesterday that I have one more huge reason to be grateful for being laid off - as the elder care needs of both my parents have increased literally in the time since I was freed, I am in the fortunate position of having the flexibility to respond, without worrying about what 'work' will think or do. That is invaluable, JB, Calgary, AB
