CLOUDLESS SKY
Saturday, October 9, 2021

Walking in the park yesterday, before sunrise, in that gray-fades-to-rosy shades, decorating my cloudless sky with magic paint – supporting my approach to a great day.

My walk – to anyone watching – was uneventful. No encounters with humans, the eagles have left their nest for a southern vacation, two rabbits noticed me noticing them, and a single deer barely moved, entirely unconcerned with my presence.

Oh, and anudder ‘ting ~ a sign saying ‘BEAR IN AREA.’

I quickened my pace, became more alert, debated humming vs. singing to make noise but chose neither, resolved that I would likely not be in danger as bears are feasting for juicy berries and not for dry old men.

Some days there are yoga-folk in the park with their mats, so I wonder if their sign should read: YOGA BEAR IN AREA?
